In reality there is only one race, the human race. The division of people by colour is trivial at best. I heard a geneticist say that the colour of someones skin is determined by a few genes and it is possible for two people of differing colours to be genetically more similar then a pair of the same colour. It is actually quite profound when you think about it in relation to how you chose partners and friends.

If we did all merge into one colour of people, people would find some other triviality to divide and fight over. As well as having inter-race hatred, you have intra-race discrimination ie: upper-class vs lower-class, light-skinned versus dark-skinned, catholic vs protestant, sunny vs shiar the list goes on.... The need to separate and distinguish ones self by categorisation seems to be part of human nature unfortunately.

The black girls in my neighborhood were raised in the church. They were very strict about when they lost their virginity and who they lost it to. Because
of our impatience to wait, brothers would look for someone who would give it up easy without too much hassle. So, they turned to the white girls.
Nowadays, in my opinion, a lot of brothers date white women because they are docile and easy to control. A lot of black men, because of insecurities, fears,
and overall weaknesses, have become intimidated by the strength of our black women. We are afraid that our woman will be more successful than us, make
more money than us, drive nicer cars and own bigger houses. Because of this fear, many black men look for a more docile woman. Someone we can control.

People worry too much about who other people date, marry, etc. If you see a black male and white female walking by hand in hand, how does that affect your life? People react to that with very PC attitudes, like they're all offended. Is that couple paying your bills? Sending your children to school? Holding the roof over your family? NO! So don't worry about it. It is none of your damn business who somebody else wants to date, marry, or love. It is ridiculous how people are constantly observing, judging and questioning the motives of those in interracial relationships. I'm a white woman and I would never look down on my best friend of 16 years (a beautiful, kind, intelligent black woman) because she dates the men within my racial group. When I met my husband, I definitely noticed that he was goodlooking...but I was blown away more by his smile, his sarcastic sense of humor, his friendly personality, and intelligence when I started talking to him. My mind wasn't on the size of his dick or anything sexual. I was turned on by who he was as a PERSON. His ability to make me laugh, the fact that he has a good relationship with the females in his family and his son's mother (a black woman), his willingness to explore other cultures, all of those were qualities that attracted me to him.

I am a young black man who does not subscribe to the bull that is on TV and the good qualities I have I learned from my parents who raised me well and too learned respect from their parents who grew up in Africa. Very little of the good things about me such as my respect for others, my love of education and other things, came from the society I grew up in, they came from the upbringing I had.
