Ah yes, HU. I went to school in Virginia so when ever there was a chance I was down there - That was back when the Ritz, 1220 & Republic Gardens were the spots but Adams Morgan was & is a cool place too.

I lived in Houston a couple years back and it is a great city cause you have the big city vibe but also the burbs feeling as well if you like grass. Though the spots I went were M-Bar before the Super Bowl was there and Cabos before they shut it down (or didn't pay their rent) I'll have to check the Flying Saucer place out.

Since being back in Louisiana I've been drinking more Abita Beer since it's harder to find out of state.

LOL - Naaah Brah, I'm a country western kinda cat.

Actually I listen to just about everything - including a country song here or there - but I am a fan of 90's Hip Hop. Besides the memories of what I was doing at those times the music was real then. There are some good songs now here or there or songs that are "15 minutes of fame" playing for your car or the club but most talk about the same stuff.

Beer snob? so what do you drink? When I lived in DC there was a place near Dupont Cir. called the Brickskeller which has over 500 different beers.
