    I Am Right's Guestbook (10)

I couldn't remember specific examples off the top of my head but I went back and watched the first thirty minutes to see. I could only take 30 more minutes of her cutesy/folksey bullshit so here's what I got:

1- Was asked about the deregulation of Wall Street and she says she wants to go back to taxes.
2- Was asked about where John McCain stands on mortgage lending and she said she wanted to go to energy.
3- Was asked about John McCain's stance on carbon emissions and she started talking about drilling for oil.

I know there were more, including questions about "nucular" (her pronounciation) weapons, that she also refused to answer.

My educated guess is that she wasn't prepped on answers for those questions and went back to what she WAS prepped on. A mockery, I tell you!

Anyway, can't wait for the debate tonight! I have a feeling that McCain is going to be VERY aggressive tonight.

Here's some info on where the candidates stand on bancruptcy reform: http://stevesathersbankruptcynews.blogspot.com/2008/10/vice-presidential...

I thought that Ifill was fair and could've been much tougher on the candidates, especially Palin. Palin refused to answer at least two important questions, instead to go back to something she had been prepped on. I thought she made a mockery of the debate process.

I hope you are right. I really think Obama could be a great president.

I thought the debate was very interesting and I loved Biden's answers. I am 100% confident in his abilities.

Palin did better than I expected but I also expected her to fail miserably like she did in the interviews. I think she danced around a lot of questions and didn't even answer some (especially in the beginning). I think the McCain team really prepared her well but I feel like she has no depth. She knew what to say and said a lot of catch phrases and slogans but her answers had no real meat or deep knowledge. I also hated all the "you betcha" and "doggoneit" crap. I can't imagine her having any in depth meetings with world leaders and talking like that. It would be embarrassing for our nation...

    What did you think?

I think this election is too close to call so I wouldn't give it up yet...

I do not agree with either Lieberman or Romney's politics but I would feel completely differently if either was the VP choice because I have confidence in their competency. I think Palin is a joke. I worry about her becoming president due to McCain's health and his age. I have no clue if he will last 4 years.

I didn't say I prefer style over substance but I do think Obama has both. His substance is in his ideas, his critical thinking, and his knowledge. His style is his even-keeled manner, his judgement, and his communication skills. I think that they will be needed to repair our damaged foreign relations.
