    This was a bulletin a friend posted on MySpace. You've mentioned this particular interview to me, but I hadn't seen it. It helped make my decision a no-brainer. That and the fact that I saw Michelle Obama on Paula Deen's show and just loved her. She's a hoot!

    Not yet. So far, my levees appear sound. There are rumors that there are leaks in them. I have a natural levee by me. I think the ones that are breaking are the manmade ones. Parts of my parish on the West Bank are flooding and parts of the parish next to me are under 4 feet of water.

    We actually almost bought a house on the West Bank after Katrina. Luckily, the deal didn't go through because Gustav destroyed it. And, that's the town that's flooding right now. The West Bank has no protection on the Gulf side. To top it all off, some retards are going around slashing the tubes that were going to be used to help with defer the water.

    Steve got called in tonight to help out over there with traffic. And, our fire department has been asked to cover all calls on the interstate since St. John has taken on water.

    We're starting to get a little nervous since we're almost surrounded by water. Half of my street is a huge swamp and it's starting to overflow. And, across the highway is another swamp that's starting to overflow. I'm two blocks off the River, so I'm praying my levee doesn't break.

    nope, I've been in West Palm for almost 2 weeks. I'm fine, doing nothing special, waiting for a nice weather to go to the beach and trying to think of a good bday gift for my mom, she seems to have everything and this year I wanna give her sth she'd be happy to receive :)
