Experience has taught me that interest begets expectation, and expectation begets disappointment, so the key to avoiding disappointment is to avoid interest.     I have an Epiphone Les Paul classic modified with Gibson Burstbucker pups in both the bridge and neck. I know -- I could have just bought a Gibson, but I'm kind of attached to the Epiphone.

    I run it through a Fender 65 Twin Reverb (a reissued one, not an original).
