The Bastardly Dips Into BETA Mode

If Flickr, Gmail & other sites can indefinitely be in beta mode, then why not blogs?
After all, BETA is the new final, baby!
So yeah, if the site goes down or the speed is not up to par or possibly you read a joke or an interview that sucks big, fat Star Jonesy ass, please understand that we're merely in beta mode & we're just testing shit out.
Oh, and the same goes for grammatical errors.

In keeping with the "BETA" mode, I am working on switching DSL providers in order to provide a faster connection. It will probably take a couple of weeks while the new phone line is ordered and subsequently the new DSL line. All this should happen without first cancelling the current DSL. If I did that, there would be around 2-3 weeks of downtime.
While I hate to leave my current provider, they can't seem to convince SBC to provide me with the faster line. Fortunately, it looks as though this other DSL provider can order a faster line for me (since it isn't via SBC's ordering system). I really wish I can stay with Sonic.net as their customer service is unbeatable... I lay no blame in Sonic.net as their hands are tied when ordering.
Hope all will go well with the switch and wish me luck with my lacking electrician skills (going to have to install new phone jacks as I don't feel like dishing out 125$ for SBC to install one that would probably take them 5 minutes).
