Monaghan: Women swooning over Dempsey is funny
"What was funny was watching women trying to mob him when we were filming in New York," she told Parade magazine.

"It went beyond giggly. But it's no wonder why they were swooning over him because he's such a great guy and, okay, he's not bad looking either. I think what some people will be surprised about I know is how funny he is." Source

Christy Turlington @ Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala

Waris Ahluwalia and Christy Turlington on Man Makeup
Christy Turlington, on the other hand, would rather see men wear makeup than get plastic surgery. "Men's plastic surgery seems to be a growing thing. I see it everywhere. It's freaky! I'd rather see a man — I got my own husband, mind you — in makeup," she said. So if she's down with man makeup, how about the proliferation of men in tight pants and women's jeans? "Oh, wow. Mine doesn't. My 2-year-old doesn't, and my husband doesn't. Not in my house," she replied. Thank God someone's keeping her 2-year-old out of the tight-pants section. The last thing we need are baby hipsters tripping us at Whole Foods.

Christy started modeling at 15, Miley Cyrus's age. Perhaps she could shed some light on Cyrus's controversial Vanity Fair photo shoot? "Is it the new issue?" she asked. No, silly. It's the June issue, and it's not out yet. She posed topless with a sheet. Any bells ringing? "A Britney Spears in the making? I haven't seen it, but it sounds like it," she said. Well, at least she didn't miss that one. "I have to say, I was working at that age, and I probably did stupid things like that," she added. "You don't know, people kind of coerce you — you think you're older than you are because you've been working for a long time, and I'm sure that's part of it." We still can't believe she didn't hear about this yesterday. New York Magazine

Taylor Swift @ Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala

Taylor Swift on Her 'Stalker' Moment with John Mayer
"I was star struck by the fact that he came up and introduced himself to me," Swift gushed Wednesday at the 5th Annual Candie's Foundation 'Event to Prevent' gala in New York. "I was like freaking out!"

Taking advantage of the chance encounter, Swift, 18, immediately started referencing Mayer's popular blog. "I just respect him so much, I was rattling off quotes that he said in his blog, and he was probably like thinking that I'm a stalker," she laughed. "But he was amazing and sweet." People

Sarah Michelle Gellar @ Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala

Sarah Michelle Gellar's latest project was "The Air I Breathe":
The concept of the film is based on an ancient Chinese proverb that breaks life down into four emotional cornerstones - Happiness (Whitaker), Pleasure (Fraser), Sorrow (Gellar), and Love (Bacon). The proverb speaks of these emotions, not as isolated fragments of feelings, but as elements that make up the whole of the human existence. Each of the four main protagonists is based on one of the four emotions; and like the proverb their paths are inextricably linked to each other.

None of the four main characters' actual names are mentioned in the whole film, although Gellar's stage name, Trista, is mentioned several times. Wiki
