Fashion mentor Tim Gunn of reality TV's "Project Runway" is among those involved in marketing the new "Total Care" products that P&G says draw on technology from its beauty products to let clothes keep their shape, color and new look longer through repeated washing.

The $60 million marketing campaign for the Tide detergent and Downy fabric softener products includes a tie-in with Ann Taylor Stores Corp.'s Loft unit and ads in such magazines as Elle, Vogue and Cosmopolitan, said spokesman Kash Shaikh.

"We are trying to drive some value — clothes, in simple terms, look good longer," said Alex Tosolini, a vice president for Fabric Care. Source

For the first minute, I just wanted to know what John thought and whether or not I looked okay. And then at a certain point I just forgot that I wasn’t wearing any clothes. By the end, I had this abandon and this confidence. I felt sexy. I’m not an exhibitionist, but this made me understand how it’s thrilling to be the center of attention, to be the sexiest one in the room. At one point I think John had to be reminded to focus his camera, and I’m wondering, Is it because I’m affecting him?

U.S. actress Lindsay Price says she is excited to be working with 1980s heartthrob Andrew McCarthy on the TV series "Lipstick Jungle."

"It's very strange to work with an icon like Andrew," Price told the New York Daily News. "He might have been one of my first crushes -- I was very aware of his movies. When we were shooting in front of Saks Fifth Avenue, looking at the dresses in the windows, we were staring at all those mannequins and I thought, 'Oh my gosh, 'Mannequin'!' It just washed over me how much I used to watch that movie with him and Kim Cattrall."

McCarthy is best known for his roles in the films "Pretty in Pink," "St. Elmo's Fire" and "Less Than Zero." Source
