Woody Allen, Cruz say threesomes only work in the movies

Asked whether he had scripted a private fantasy of sex with two women, Allen quipped: "It's hard enough to get one person."

The 72-year-old director said trying to keep in balance between two partners would be daunting.

"I'd love to have kids. Maybe I'll adopt about 20 children - that's been my dream since I was a little girl.

"I love children, but at the moment I'm happy with my career. If one day I have a baby I'm not going to be able to work like I do now.
