The woman popularly known as Kat Von D was just 14 when she decided to give up school to become a professional tattoo artist. Born Katherine Von Drachenberg in 1982, to church-missionary parents, Von D had always been a good student while growing up in California, but she hated the other side of high school life - the jocks, the cheerleaders, the big, apparently unbreachable social divisions. On the first day of seventh grade, she had a fight with someone who told her "I had a bad attitude", she says, and shortly afterwards she left school. Kat Von D: I met him through a mutual friend, Scott Ian, from ANTHRAX. His girlfriend is Pearl Aday. I had been going through a divorce. A little over a year ago I separated from my husband, and Nikki had just separated from his ex-wife (former "Baywatch" actress Donna D'Errico) a year prior to that. So [Pearl] was like, "I really think you guys would be a great match." I'm like, "Well… we both have baggage (laughs). I don't think it's a good idea." N.J. woman claims Spitzer call girl used her license

A federal lawsuit filed this month by Amber Arpaio seeks unspecified monetary compensation for defamation and invasion of privacy.

Arpaio, 26, of Sussex County, cannot recall where she lost the license and doesn't know Dupre, although the women have similar faces, said a lawyer for Arpaio, Joseph J. Fell.

"Somehow, Ashley Dupre got ahold of the license and had it for some period of time," Fell said Thursday. Source
