Chanelle Jade Hayes (born 11 November 1987 in Styal, Cheshire, England) is a singer and ex-British reality television contestant. Chanelle was a student at North-East-Wakefield College, Pontefract, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, studying Spanish, Music & English before becoming famous by appearing on the Channel 4 reality show Big Brother in 2007 when she was 19 years old.

The celebrity is now fulfilling a lifelong dream to become a recording artist after starring in Chanelle: Wannabe Popstar on VH1.

Chanelle will be at the Leeds music store from 5pm to meet fans and sign copies of the new single which will be released through Eminence records the same day.

And if she keeps her word we should be seeing much more of her in Leeds after she announced plans to attend one of the city's universities.

Chanelle was rated as having the highest IQ while in the Big Brother house. Source

Chanelle Hayes is launching an assault on the charts with the release of debut single I Want It.

The BB8 star is filming her transformation for VH1 show Chanelle: Wannabe Pop Star. The track will be available from 12 May.

'The song actually sounds a bit like recent Britney,' she claims.

Since leaving the Big Brother house, the Victoria Beckham wannabe has tried her hand at presenting and modelling. But it seems she's finally following in her idol's footsteps. Source

Chanelle: Wannabe Popstar follows the Big Brother star from signing a record contract to releasing a single.

And the reality star is so determined to succeed in the pop business she’s even put her boob job on hold!

Chanelle says she can’t afford to take three weeks off so she’s decided to postpone the enhancement until she has more time.

We’re not too sure if we want the wannabe to have some inflated bazookas but Chanelle reckons it’ll give her more confidence.

‘I think sometimes everyone’s got their hang-ups about their own body and I just think it’ll make me look a little more proportional and a little bit more happy with myself,’ said Chanelle. Source
