A source tells the magazine Lavigne and Whibley "have been growing apart for months," adding, "Deryck isn't motivated in his own career, so he's been drinking and partying."

Rumors of their split were fueled when Whibley was reportedly seen at an event at a Los Angeles nightclub "huddled at a private table" and holding the hand of an unknown woman. Source

Avril Lavigne's new clothing line for Kohl's, Abbey Dawn

Avril Lavigne has a new line of clothing for juniors in her unique cotton candy ‘tween punk style. Clothing is affordably priced at from $24 to $58 USD and is available at Kohl's stores in the US. The line includes cap-sleeved t-shirts with skull prints, tight-fit hoodies with purple and pink zebra and leopard prints, and even a hoodie with little ears on it.

Avril named the line Abbey Dawn after the childhood nickname given to her by her dad. She explains that “My alias name was always Abbey Dawn in my hotel rooms.” Avril describes the way she designed the clothing as “I can literally come up with anything I want to wear and then it's made and I get it.”

Avril says “the inspiration for Abbey Dawn came out of my closet. It's who I am and what I think is cool and anything I'd wear. Source

Clarkson band joins forces with rocker Avril Lavigne

Clarkson band illScarlett's fame continues to grow.

The foursome will join pop-punk Avril Lavigne for the east coast swing of her Best Damn Tour.

The band, including vocalist and guitarist Alex Norman, guitarist Will Marr, bassist John Doherty and drummer and singer Swav Piorkowski, will replace Boys Like Girls on the tour. The guys will join Lavigne for the Aug. 6 show at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto and will play six dates, finishing up on Aug. 13 at the Mile One Centre in St. John's Newfoundland. [MS News]
