Masiela Lusha (born October 23, 1985) is a Albanian-American writer and actress. She is best known for her role as Carmen Lopez on the sitcom George Lopez.
Her first films were Summoning, and Cherry Bomb followed soon after by My Father's Eulogy in which she portrayed Lisa, the lead who reminisces about her experiences with her father. She also played Aracelli in the film Muertas, in which she portrayed a young factory worker from Juarez, who dreams of America and falls in love with an El Paso journalist, Ethan. She will appear in the upcoming live-action adaptation of the movie Blood: The Last Vampire alongside Jun Ji-Hyun [3]. At the age of twelve, she published a book of her poetry written in both Albanian and English. She became an actress and played Carmen Lopez in the first five seasons of ABC's The George Lopez Show. Her character on the show also writes poetry. However, unlike her character on the show, she is not Latina. She's also appeared in the films Summoning and Cherry Bomb.
Masiela is a student at UCLA.
