She needs some bukkake on her face, and her daughter has humongous cans. I have to admit, Palin is hot for a 44 year old mother of 5.

Any way, as I posted elsewhere last night, Obama should've picked Hillary. Hillary could've attacked Palin without drawing sympathy to Palin. Palin told a bunch of lies last night, and when she wasn't lying she was oversimplifying the issues. (Of course, if Obama had picked Hillary, McCain would not have picked Palin.)

Yeah, Obama is concerned about reading rights to terrorists. Republicans are so adept at oversimplying issues into distorted sound bites, and the uneducated masses fall for it. What Obama was concerned about, as was McCain until he flip-flopped a few months ago, is that we are holding people who have never been proven guilty of anything in an adversarial proceeding. This lowers our standing in the world and fuels hatred of the US for generations to come.

She said Obama wants a huge government in our lives, but who wants a bigger government than Republicans? They want to tell you you can't have an abortion, that you can't smoke marijuana even if your doctor prescribes it (and even if your state government says it's OK), they want to be involved in all your end-of-life decisions, they want religion to be a part of your government, they want to tell you what you can and cannot watch on TV, even on cable. Republicans want the government in every facet of your life.

But Palin was warm, people will want her at their BBQ, Obama is painted as an "Uppity Negro," so it's probably going to be a tight race.

More attacks with no plan of what McCain/Palin plan to do to really change things.
Also flashing the typical Republican we have all the "right" answers and everyone else is wrong. Well we tried the everyone else is wrong approach with W. and where has that gotten America?

What is Obama's plan? If you can explain what his plan is for the future of this country, maybe I'll vote for him. Obama has not been able to articulately convey to the American people what his plan is. Also, can you also tell me what a Community Organizer is? It sounds like a director of the local YMCA who makes sure that little Johnny is enrolled in the proper swimming class.

Bush should be taken to the Hague. Falluja was nothing more than ethnic cleansing if you actually read into what happened.
That and 1.2Million Iraqi's have died due to a war they never asked to put upon them. If they revolted and died that is one thing...In this case, Bush just decided they need more liberation and in turn killed far more Iraqi's than Saddam ever did.
Now who is evil?

They deposed a dictator to put Iraq into a bllobath that a civil war is, and your statment is correct, 1.2 m. people were sent into the grave only to satisfy the lobbies from contractors (military or not) who sponsored bush political campaign (halliburton for example) and sadly the disastrous invasio fo Iraq generation much more stir and instability than when saddam was there, even beig himself all the wrong he was

and if UN was serious, inf fact bush should be sent to Hague, milosevic (a criminal too) was sent for less, so why not bush ?

Well, you have to actually watch the speeches to get the information.
A community organizer in Obama's case is a man that after getting his degree at Harvard went back to Chicago, where people had just lost there jobs to plants closings and get them retrained for new jobs and a different life.
There is a lot of involvement, but you really need to read up on it. I've read both men biographies and so on. Sometime you have to really reach beyond your own circle to find the real meat.
Watching the profile on CNN for both men might get you started....I've watched everything I can on both...One thing is overwhelmingly clear. McCain has changed drastically since getting the nomination and that part scares me a bit.
If you write and I don't respond back for a while, it is because I have work to do...I'll respond back as soon as I can...I won't ignore you. Healthy debate is a good thing for this country right now.
I'd look up Obama's page or go to wiki to get an idea of his plans....I did that for both candidates. McCain, nor has anyone that has spoken at the covention, really spelled out, officially, what McCain plans to do. I hope he goes into that a bit tonight.
Give me something to work with McCain!

I am from Chicago actually went to school there and "community organizer" is someone who doesn't have a real job but rather one of those guys who rides the cotails of a Rev. Wright and receives something for the effort. Unfortunately!

It was a canned speech they rewrote at the last minute and it did what it was supposed to do: push Republican talking points without really addressing the issues.

She was killing me with that "don't attack my family" garbage, but it's ok to attack Obama's wife ("I'm always proud to be american"). Don't talk about my pregnant teen daughter, but don't talk about the fact that as governor I slashed funding for a program that teaches teen moms job skills and gives them a place to stay while they get on their feet.

Will they lay in to her about her shady pastor, trying to get her ex brother-in-law fired, and the ties she and her hubby had to a group that wants Alaska to secede? Probably not: the Republicans are attacking the media to get them to not ask questions about her, even if they are pertinent.

The part where she criticized Obama's/Democrats' energy plan as being non-existent (although she'd praised it as being better than McCain's a few weeks ago) was gold, too. I also don't like that all of her points eventually came back to McCain being a POW makes him the best to lead the country and how they knew who the real hardworking Americans were.

I'm tired of my friend pushing this woman down my throat because we both have pussies. The more I read about her stances and what she did not only as governor, but as mayor, I cringe at the thought that she's being sold as the choice for progressive women. If they were really serious about a woman candidate for president, they'd vote for McKinney, but they won't.

Unfortunately, we're not going to hear her really talk until the debates, if they don't replace her by then...and they don't have someone on a radio feeding her lines if they let her debate. Word on the street is that McCain wanted Leiberman and the religious right weren't having it. If she gets elected as VP and quits, McCain can put whomever he wants in her stead.

Quit...Probably not. I have a feeling this trooper-gate thing is may blow up in her face.
Did anyone see that McCain refused to talk to CNN because Campbell Brown asked Tucker Bounds some hard questions about Palin?
Come one....McCain has taken a 180 degree turn and is starting to act like Golum...Hiding his prescious ring and all.

Thursday, September 4th, 2008 @ 2:08pm
Reply to this Comment

Yeah. Quit. Something teary-eyed about needing more time with her family and "special needs" baby. By that time, she will have served her purpose--distracting people from the issues of the campaign and getting PUMA votes--and they won't need her anymore. The other idea was that if she bowed out a the last minute ('cause Trooper Gate just might blow up like you said), then they'd have to eat any kind of hurry-up pick McCain made so they'd stay on the ticket.

The Campbell Brown thing was a riot. I think my favorite part was him trying to convince her, us, and probably himself that the governor had any control over the troops once they hit the sandbox.

There is a huge difference in blatantly attacking the Paline and her down syndrome baby and family, and questioning why Michelle Obama only thought she was proud to be called an American only after her husband got the nomination.

Why hasn't the media questioned where Obama got the money to purchase his $4 million dollar mansion, even though both he and his wife make a paltry salary.

Or the real issue, what is Obama's connection with the ultimate radical leftist, Ayers, who BOMBED the Pentagon?

If I were her, I wouldn't be proud of a country that marginalizes me and diminishes my accomplishments because of how I look, but says I should be proud because I could be somewhere the culture deems worse. I'm not proud of how badly turn the country has taken. I'm rather ashamed, in fact. Speaking out against what's wrong isn't un-American--it's Thomas Paine Americana--but 8 years of an administration that's equated dissent with being unpatriotic has blurred that line.

Where did he attack her baby? I recall he and Biden saying families were off limits.

Palin put up motherhood and the state of her family as part of her qualifying "experience." Is having a baby at her age and knowing it would have 1 in 30 chance of being born Down's Syndrome irresponsible?
Yes. Keeping it after the test results came back positive then calling it proof of "family values" is dangerous. Real family values would be to abort it and spare the kid a poor quality of life or to keep it, but leave office to give him or her all the care and attention needed. Life for the sake of life is no life at all.

As for her pregnant daughter, there is a double-standard here. If one of Obama's girls was pregnant, the GOP would be all over it like they jumped on Murphy Brown (a FICTIONAL character). You can't campaign on "abstinence-only sex ed is right and nothing else" when your own kids are carrying proof it doesn't work.

See, this is what happens when a woman in her mid-forties has her 5th child. The odds of a 45 year old woman having a Downs baby is a whopping 1 in 30.

Are all of you THAT FUCKING STUPID! Both parties have failed us, we have a democratic congress, Bush couldn't spend a cent without their approval. Both parties have not done a good job for 20 years! They con you into believing it's "the other guys fault". Real living standards have fallen, absent debt. The mirage of a strong economy was held up by people using their home equity like an ATM, and Wall Street obliging with a pyramid scheme of bad paper. Read bright independent people like Volker,Roubini, Schiller, Buffet, Grant, Fleckenstein, Von Mises institute, shadowstats etc. Basically people with first access to capital and those politically connected made billions while the taxpayers will be forced to cover the losses. Estimated from independent sources put the taxpayer bill for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac between 1.3 and 5.3 TRILLION!!! We already have 70 TRILLION of unfunded obligations. We have not had a balanced budget since I have been born (NO Clinton did not actually balance the budget, as national debt ROSE every year he was in office) Also, Clinton AND baby Bush have moneyed with the government data to under report inflation and unemployment. You can go to the government's own sites BLS.gov and look i the footnotes. u-6 unemployment, which is how it was calculated pre Clinton is over 10% inflation last year close to 10% yet the inflation rate the gov't used to calculate the latest GDP was 2% because the truth is we have been in a recession since November. Phil Graham (rep) and Barney Frank(dem) with many co conspirators, deregulated the industry that allowed the mess we are in BIPARTISAN. Not to mention how they have gerrymandered the districts so it is very hard to vote out an incumbent.

BOTTOM LINE...WE NEED TERM LIMITS TO RID US OF THE PARASITES FROM BOTH PARTIES WHO ONLY SERVE THEMSELVES, NOT US!
