Lindsay Lohan follows Katherine Heigl in Emmy withdrawalFOLLOWING Katherine Heigl's decision to pull out of the Emmy Award nominations, Lindsay Lohan has followed suit, disqualifying herself for her Ugly Betty cameo role.
The 21-year-old actress decided to avoid being nominated for one of the prestigious accolades, insisting her appearance on hit US TV show Ugly Betty was too "brief" to warrant an award.
Lohan's representative said: "The appearance was brief so we made a decision to wait."
The Mean Girls star appeared in one episode of Ugly Betty as lead character Betty Suarez's high-school classmate, Kimberly. She is rumoured to have signed on for a recurring role in the show when it returns next season. [Herald Sun]
