Pajek, I'm a 25 year old female who grew up with those magazines. Was I influenced by them? To a certain extent, yes. But here's the thing, I had the brains to figure out what was real and what wasn't. In fact all it takes is looking at those magazines, it's clearly noticeable those photos are airbrushed. I mean, their skin doesn't exactly look like skin. Have you noticed that? After that all it took was looking at photos of what the "idols" really look like to see that they're completely normal people. Not only that but I made the effort to love myself in those days when I wasn't feeling all that great. Actually, I think nowadays I love myself way too much, it gets to the point when it's ridiculous.

I guess what I did was look at things from more than one perspective. For instance, big breasts are great because they're big but they can also make you look "fat" when you wear certain clothes, even if you're thin (I speak from personal experience). Small breasts on the other hand might be small but they look perkier and stay that way for a longer time, and they look great in almost every outfit. Another thing you can consider is fame. Nowadays everybody wants to be famous and yes, the money and status that come with it might be good but you also lose your privacy (which for me is of the utmost importance) and are chased by fans and paparazzi all the time. You have too look at the good and the bad before doing something like getting your boobs done. Is that really what you want? Is it really necessary? Aren't you just giving in to social pressure? This requires that one thinks about it, that one uses one's brain. The media can't be blamed for everything, it's also people's fault. Teenagers can't get breast implants unless their parents allow (and pay for it), so it's up to the parents to use their brains before making a choice.
