Kobe Bryant's lawyers send cease and desist order to websiteThe law firm of Loeb & Loeb, representing Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, has sent a cease and desist order (found on TMZ.com) to representatives of the website www.thedirty.com. The letter claims the site "has maliciously published totally false, libelous, defamatory and disparaging information about our client."
On its postings, the website intimated that Bryant, currently in the middle of the Western Conference playoffs, had a relationship with a former Lakers cheerleader. The site put the item up as a rumor and had no one quoted on the record. USA Today
