While it's nice for my home state to actually have a say in this election, the truth is that the election was over some time ago. Nearly 2 months ago, Clinton would have to have started getting something in the neighborhood of 75%+ wins in every single state to pull ahead in total votes. Now that there are just a few primaries left, the lead is basically insurmountable unless some of the superdelegates don't follow the lead of their constituents.

What is to stop the government or a corporation working with the blessing of the government wouldn't do the same to destitute people in 2nd or 3rd world countries?

Maybe the whole reason it was so inflammatory is because, since Bush took office, the idea of telling the truth has become foreign to us. It doesn't help that ideas like integrity have been painted as "unpatriotic" or "anti-American" during the last eight years.

Hillary has no place criticising anyone for inexperience in terms of office. She herself has only been a senator less than 8 years(sworn in 1/3/01, so 7.3 years). Hillary's never held office before now. Most of her work experience comes from repping major corporations, like Wal-Mart, and the "work" she did as the wife of the guy in charge. Obama has experience at the state level (about 8 years) and the national level (3.5 years). Clinton needs to shut up.

But what gets me the most is the sense of entitlement and superiority she carries herself with when talking about/dealing with race, particularly "blackness."

I'm more than a touch pissed off that she would automatically assume that an entire community should vote for her, not because of her own merit, but because people liked her husband.

I also don't care for her assertion that her husband is more "black" than an actual black man. Is she saying that because he fits stereotypes (musical talent, infidelity, love for Mickey D's)? It can't possibly be because he has any idea what it's like to be black in America. He earned that "1st Black President" tag because of how he reached out to the community. Even if he is only half black and from a well-to-do background, his American experience is more distinctly "black" than Bill's could ever be. Hillary needs to shut the fuck up and sit the fuck down with that mess. Just because she knows some black people or has some black supporters, that doesn't make her comments any less patronizing or any more "okay."

She doesn't have a clear answer for any issues I'm concerned about and dances away from hard questions unless she sees an opportunity to ignore the question and cast doubt on her opponents at the same time. She's jumped on McCain's gimmicky bandwagon at different times in her campaign as well as Obama's if she thinks it'll sell as well for her as it did or does for them. Her willingness to conform also says to me that electing her will mean more of the same, just like McCain. Clinton has failed to convince me she can hold a platform of her own and stick with it. I don't want a follower. I want a damn leader.

That being said, I don't "owe" her a vote because of my skin color or because she has a twat, too.

The things most Americans do not realize are that people in other countries do not really like us right now - in particular our government. The US reminds me of the microcosm of my home state Louisiana - where you grow up here, go to college here, marry your sweetheart here and have your kids here with the big vacation being to Florida or Texas... The majority of the world that they see is just through TV.

The rest of the world did not realize we were dumb until we voted Bush a second time. I lived in DC during 9/11. I remember afterwards I was at a football game and he gave his big speech and A-10 wart hogs flew over and hell they were gonna pay! Since the gold standard is no longer an issue, wars are a good way to get -that is get approval to borrow- funds from the Federal Reserve. What bush is doing (I think) is borrowing money to fund the war in order to keep the u.s economy alive. Let us not forget that a big portion of the money goes to wages and in companies that are supposedly re-building Iraq (investment).Now most of the money that goes into wages comes back to the u.s i.e. soldiers send the money back home to support their families who they spend it on goods, taxes, luxuries, mortgage payments, etc. or in the worst case scenario deposit their money on a u.s bank. Nevertheless, this allows for a continuous flow of financial assets and keeps the economy from 'freezing'. In a nutshell, without this war your economy would crumble. That is why I keep repeating that you live at the expense of others i.e. what do you think would happen to your economy if you got ALL your troops from all over the world back home tomorrow? Of course another reason for this war is that you get to CONTROL the oil in Iraq.
Now all the above is MY theory, my way of explaining the situation - and as such I am open to criticism.

I am Greek...Greece has NEVER invaded other countries or made wars to create colonies or expand its borders, or to get resources, even though we have always been and we still are the #1 military power in the Balkans.
