Actress Miley Cyrus and best pal Mandy Jiroux have dedicated their latest YouTube video of 'The Miley and Mandy Show' to Jesus. In the video, the gals have divulged details about their rather clean life and have admitted their religious inclination towards Jesus.
Both girls revealed their favourite colour as blue and also told fans that they haven"t had a single boyfriend till date. They also confessed to have danced late-night at Target in their pyjamas and unanimously agreed to be the followers of Christ.
When asked whether they were Christians the girls came up with a unified and emphatic response saying: "Yes, we are". "We love Jesus! Jesus rocks! She dances for Jesus. I sing, dance and act for Jesus! ... Now that I think about it, I do everything for Jesus. We make the YouTube videos for Jesus. We're all about it," People quoted 15-year-old Cyrus, as saying. I think she seems like a nice girl, but I find the whole thing with these teenagers who go to churches that play Christian rock music and jump around, and say things like "Man, doesn't Jesus just ROCK??? He is so totally AWESOME!" is actually disrespectful and so far away from the real point of who Jesus is and everything he ever had to say. I can't imagine Christ rocking out, playing air guitar and swinging his hair around. I was raised Episcopalian. We're really boring people who dress up for church, sit down in a pew and sing hymns, from the 1800s. So maybe I'm prejudiced. Anyway, I'm going to stop now since I don't want to try to turn this into a religious discussion. Miley Cyrus is just a little girl who is still a little too sheltered (although she's world-famous), naive and ignorant. But I still think she seems like a sweetheart.
