In the non-concert segments, Cyrus comes across as a likeable and fairly "normal" teen. Even though the career path for these youngsters is usually a helter skelter ride into drugs and mental illness, you get the feeling that won't be the case here.
Cynics may smell a little bit of "soulless money making" about the movie but it's the kind of good, clean family entertainment that should delight Hannah Montana fans and at just 74 minutes long, it's not going to bore the pants off the older generations. Source

While I do believe that she's the product of the same Disney machine that cranks out a slew of untalented annoying teenagers under the guise of "musical performers", I have seen interviews with her and I'm glad she's steering clear of some of the bullshit her peers are embracing. Seems like a pretty good kid. Hopefully Billy Ray requires her to wear stainless steel panties with a combo lock.
