Otherwise, I honestly have never seen the original Breathless (not that I went out of my way for the remake either) , But JEAN SEBERG! Yes, Yes, Yes. Love her. More then Grace Kelly. I first had seen Jean in 'Bonjour Tristesse' (I think one of her first films) and her short hair was captivating. Much like Audrey Hepburn and her short hair eary in her career.

I think I should track [À bout de souffle] down and watch it. Shame about Jean's life tho.

All in all long, straight, curly, wirrly, snaggy, shaggy, ratty, matty
........It does not matter to me.

I have sooooo many favorites if would take a day to list them or the actors. North by Northwest and Rear Window are fantastic films. If you appraciate a good funny film;

"Grand blond avec une chaussure noire" ;The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe

Or films by Jacque Tati (Playtime, Mon Oncle)

Or a teary kinda film;
