The only good thing about the movie is the technology, which was pretty cutting edge at the time, that they used to insert hanks in to the stock footage.

You can't go by awards if you are going to talk acting talent, those awards are so biased, just like a global vote would be, people are fickle and their means of "judging" someone's ability is far from accurate. So may actors/actresses get passed over when a flavor of the month wins. The only movie I liked him in (meaning I could almost feel the characters motivations in a truthful way) was Any Given Sunday and it wasn't worthy of an award.

However being out with another man's woman is tacky, it's not like he can't get with another ho.

He is the epitome of repeating a lie enough times until it becomes the truth. He is a no talent ne, oops, I mean "african American", compared to Denzel or Poitier. He's pure pop culture kitch.
