The only time I've ever really seen jealousy come into play is when it is someone jealous of someone they know personally. Even then, I've only ever really see it as "I hate her" rather than "She's so ugly."
None of us really owe anything to celebrities, so when someone says someone else is ugly, it is incredibly obnoxious when the teenyboppers come back and say "omgz ur just jealouz"
