Well, the idea of the 40 dollars a day thing is to show you how cheap one can eat when traveling if you hit the right places. A GOOD cheap meal is fine, but come on, you have to at least leave a nice tip. You also have to remember that these shows are taped and the restaurant owners know exactly what she's ordering and when she'll be there. I would actually change the show to 50 dollars a day to make room for the tip.

Hell, when we go out we spend 40 bucks on the appetizers.... LOL
