I don't think you are in a position to teach me my native language - which happens to be Greek.
I don't know how YOU use it, but in Greek it means exactly the following thing:
"The scientific study that offers a thorough analysis of a prototypical subject/theme that is to be submitted to a higher education institution (university) for evaluation."
Other words with the same or similar meaning are : treatise, dissertation, thesis.
I'm really sorry; you messed with the wrong (bilingual) dude. Better luck next time!
So to sum up, diatribe means what I said it means - please stick to your native language vocabulary and stop embarrassing yourself by demonstrating your utter ignorance of my noble language. ok?
