Oh, but you are deluding yourself.

When you receive your degree, and realize it won't magically transform you into a wise and insightful person, you might learn to accept your insignificance. Perhaps not. Perhaps you'll continue to swear and call people names, and try to convince yourself that you're more important than everyone else.

My money's on the latter.
