Cindylou the baby isn't even really 'a life' until it is fully developed (a human being with fully developed organs, limbs, skin & hair). It does not think or feel anything in the early stages, it is but a yolk sack. This is why there is a cut off point for an abortion. No one would terminate a fully developed baby.
Birth control is never 100% and many women find out they are pregnant long after they can do anything about it. These women already have a life... the baby they carry does not... it is a but a yolk sack inside a womb. The day they are born and take their first breath is the day they have a 'life.' And as for crushing the babies skull?? The baby has not even developed a skull at the point an abortion can be carried out. Not all babies go to good homes. Some are fostered out to home upon home, others adopted to families who abuse them.
