Though the thought of the entire world not being fixated on you seems strange in her mind, it's the case.
Hewitt may not be fat but she has definitely put on at least 20 pounds since early 2006. Some of us had been witnessing this weight gain slowly, before Bikini Gate this past month. These even more recent photos makes her appear that she's still packing on the pounds. Notice she's wearing an apron in every shot and many other shots involves her pressed against her fiancee Ross McCall (I'm surprised that girly man poser didn't write McLovin on his name tag just to get noticed). Save the name tag at the mission; Hewitt should start wearing it to identify Ms. Piggy from Camryn Manheim on Ghost Whisperer (though we'll probably get a clue by finding the one who can't act). Something tells me that the Mission might have dedicated some staff to watch Hewitt as she's standing near the food. I could just see her grabbing the mashed potatoes with her hands and drinking bowls of straight gravy.
I'm sure Hewitt wishes each year that the homeless will continue to be homeless. Can you imagine what would happen if she's deprieved of her holiday photo opportunity? She strolls by the Mission for a few hours on Christmas Eve day after dropping tens of thousands of dollars on gifts for her inner circle of friends and family to be placed in a special area where celebrities get to have their pictures taken, away from the actual homeless people or any real work. After which, she receives more praises than the selfless everyday people who volunteer to make an actual difference.
