Champion Gymnast and Decathlete to Be Featured on Special-Edition Wheaties Packages"Every young athlete aspires to one day see their face on the cover of the Wheaties box," Liukin said. "It's been a huge inspiration to see great gymnastics champions on the box, like Mary Lou and Carly, plus the 'Magnificent Seven' from 1996. It's a privilege and an honor for me to be on the box, and I'm very excited to be part of the Wheaties tradition."
Liukin credits hard work and determination for her success. "I tell young athletes all the time that if you want to become a champion, you need to stay focused, train hard, and pay attention to what you eat," she says. Proper nutrition is a critical part of peak performance, and Liukin says that's why Wheaties was a part of her training regimen. Source

Shauna Sand Signs Autographs With Black Sharpie!

School supplies -- old school vs. new schoolTHEN: Bic 4-Color Ballpoint.
NOW: Sharpie pen. Sharpie came out with a new everyday pen this year, even getting David Beckham to sign autographs with it. Back in the day, our class notes were accented with that fat pen with the four different colors just a click away. It's red! No, it's blue! Wait for it ... green! We liked how we could change the color of our thoughts depending on who our BFF was that day. But the clicking action sometimes stuck and in the end it's hard to read green, so you stuck with good ol' blue. We took the new Sharpie for a test drive, and the result was a very solid, sharp line in black, though the blue was a bit too light in color for our taste.
WINNER: Sharpie. We'd follow David Beckham around with one of those. Source

Little to love in Myers' GuruJust look at The Love Guru, an uneven and hysterically bizarre comedy about an ambitious, potty-mouthed mystic who helps a Canadian hockey star get his wife and his groove back. Directed by newcomer Marco Schnabel (from a screenplay by Myers and Graham Gordy, with inspiration from Deepak Chopra), the film reminded me of lesser Peter Sellers vehicles (The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu) in which a genius for meticulous comic masquerade crashes on a weakness for overstatement. The obvious can be amusing once or twice, but by the fourth or eighth go, it's time to bring on the draconian edits. Source
