Girls as short as 5'4" are listed at 5'8" and 5'9", most people in the industry couldn't tell you exactly how tall a girl is, and most don't really care. Does the girl sell? Can she move product? Will she make us money? There are tons of girls listed at 5' 10", 11" and 34 24 34 who are not even close to those measurements.

Ex-supermodel Elle "The Body" MacPherson has wide hips but her top matches her bottom. No, it's not hard to have big hips, but it's not really about "just the hips".

It's about having a nice hip to waist ratio, which is not so common, as well as natural bone structure.

For instance:
Ruler girls who are fat, can have hips. Those who are thin, do not.
Pear and hour shaped glass girls. on the other hand, have hips while fat and slim.

I have seen designers measure models and they always put the tape at the widest part which is right below the butt where the bones at the top of the thighs jut out of the side of the leg.

Milla doesn't take that good candid pics but I've seen her on interviews, seen her in films where she has stupid ugly hair cuts, very little make up to no make up, bruised and bloody and she looks good. She even looked good in the fifth element where she had short scraggy ornage hair and her eyebrows were bleached too and her airbrushed pics are amazing.

First, I still don't think Candice is a pear, watch her in person, or a video of her on the runway like VS 07, and she is a lot more of an hourglass than a pear, the girl is not that wide, her shoulders and hips are proportional, and has a narrow waist and ribcage. Anyway despite what people like to think it is very, very, hard to accurate judge sizes by a photo, although proportions are easier. If she is a very narrow person those could easily be 34 or even 32, but if she is not so narrow they can also be 36.
Gisele is famous for using her flexible lower spine to give the illusion of being much curvier than she is. Her 32" hips and 27' waist would make her ruler straight, but the girl knows how to pose.
Candi's great eyes enhance her cheeks and cute nose in my opinion to make her attractive

she is a model, and models are supposed to be within that 34-24-34 range...so we were just comparing her so called measurements to these pix...i dont go around with a measuring tape and call girls hot or not because they fall within those measurements. People are harsh on models because they get paid for their looks and measurements. It is as easy as that.

Those are some beautiful hips! I wish more models had some meat on them. Adriana, Alessandra, and a few others so do not. Those models aren't ugly (they're stunning!), but when their bodies are worshiped, I laugh.

They never measured the butt area just the bones, so I guess they are different ways to do it.
