Women have options and they choose not to exercise it. Hospitals might be making choices, but insurance companies hold the purse strings. It's way cheaper to have non-hospital births. The person who holds the purse strings has control. If they stop paying for "PIT" unless doctors put that it's necessary, doctors will stop overusing it. Women make the choice to do the hospital thing. If/when I have kids, I will likely choose the hospital thing and that's because I've seen a home birth. So sorry people. If there's a less painful alternative, I will always take it. Meanwhile, some of these women I'm sure will be feeding their kids Similac soon and feeding them garbage within a year. I respect and applaud the women who do the home birth thing, but some are way too preachy. Live and let live. As for the unnecessary meds, if it's more expensive than a long labor, the insurance companies will stop paying for them.
Oh yes. A lot of people don't like the possibility of having 36 hour labors

Number One, Josie Maran could wear a trash can and she would look more appealing than EVERY single jealous little girl who comes on here and slags her off. Number Two, that picture of her spraying the champagne in her mouth is porno-level hot. And she doesn't need a pedicure. She just needs to paint them puppies. And who cares, anyway. She could run a marathon and I would still lick her feet clean before she got in the shower.
