All those models live and work primarily in the US. They have their base in the US. Look at Adriana. She gets the majority of her income from her two big contracts: Victoria's Secret and Maybelline New York. Both American-based companies.

Another factor that indicates that the source has zero credibility is that it says that Alessandra "is a regular face on and she is a regular face in the US television series, Entourage."

omega, yes but even if Alessandra surpasses Lima for mid-2006 to mid-2007 period, that doesn't necessarily make her the highest paid model in the US. Lima had a break last year due to personal problems and Alessandra might have been able to capitalize on that. But I still doubt that VS would pay Alessandra $3 million more than their veteran model. It's not like she did anything major for VS that Adriana didn't also do.

But Adriana is on a roll now and back with a vengeance.

- She opened the big show
- Did all the show promotion with Karolina
- She just appeared on the 75th anniversary cover of Esquire (Esquire > Brazilian Rolling Stone)

I'm not determining who's the best based on runway highlights lol. But yes, both Lima (opened show twice, closed it twice) and Karolina (opened show once, wore bra twice) have better show highlights than Alessandra who has neither opened the show, worn the bra or closed the show.

It wouldn't be surprising if Ale is currently the highest paid VS model since the company announced a few months ago it was targeting teenage customers as its main customers after suffering its first major losses ever. They've been touting Ale as the face of their 'younger' clients and it appears she's become their top angel because she's featured prominently within the magazine and seems to have been on almost every catalogue cover last year. However, there's no way she's the highest paid model in the US - unless she has other very lucrative endorsements. 2008 just started and she's not the only model renegotiating/negotiating contracts.
If she got pregnant, there wouldn't be a problem as long as she got back into shape after the kid. Look at Klum and one of the other Brazilian models for VS had 2 kids and there wasn't a problem with her VS contract. Besides, working for VS is not a year round job. She shows up for a couple of shoots a year, does promotion and walks in the show at the end of the year.
