What smoking does is suppress t he appetite, so as a consequence you don't eat so much (so indirectly it makes you thin)
I dunno looking better before, when she was on Rosewell with the short brown hair.. VAVA VOOM, but then I also have a thing for blondes.

you gain weight when you quit because you have a oral need that is no longer being satisifed with a smoke so you eat (thus keeping your mouth occupied)

She looks stunning...oh to look that bad :) The cigs are never good but noone is perfect - apart from posters on celebrity blogs of course who don't smoke, don't drink, pray 3 times a day...

No actually from what she said she doesn't know the risks as she said a couple of cigerettes wouldn't harm an unborn baby.
I wonder how much big tobacco paid the producer to get her to chain smoke in the film. Notice how there has been more smoking by celebs in movies, esp around sex scenes (even Kate Blanchette can't get away with NOT smoking in her films, no wonder it took her so many attempts to quit and may take more)in 90s to now than in the 80s and more young people esp girls have been lighting up in 90s to now than the 80s, hmm funny that, guess big tobacco remembers that smoking in cinema in the 50s is what made it really take off in the first place esp with young people as no other form of advertising/promotion had got it to really catch on previously, great loop hole for the tobacco companies, usually can't put it on tv, radio, magazines etc now but the best form of promotion with ramping up big time with big bucks in cinema is still legal. Bollywood is another great example as it wasn't cool for teenage indian girls to smoke until recently and it has it's trippled in last 3 yrs and at the same time as Bollywood getting just about every attractive female actor (whether or not they are non smokers) to smoke and make it cool and sexy as we all know how influential celebs are to young people. Guess it'll keep hapening until the lawsuits come out unless someone with a bit of influence cares and takes on the tobacco companies or the next generation will fall victim to big tobaccos web again.
