Same light settings, same event, same photographer, same picture, same all...FAIR AND SQUARE. You can't choose the BEST one and compare it with a mediocre one. And she doesn't really need help. If she still felt like she needed to accomplish a lot as model I'm sure she would put more effort into it but I don't think she has more to prove. The difference between Adriana and Alessandra is that Adriana never dreamed about becoming a model in the first place, it happened more or less by accident. Alessandra, on the other hand, wanted to become a model ever since she was a kid so she's living her dream now (if you read interviews). Ironically Adriana rose to stardom before Alessandra did. They were both doing runway for Vicotoria's Secret back in 1998 but Adriana was the one who got promoted to angel status in 2000, a promotion Alessandra didn't get until 4 years later. Adriana went on to model for Armani and Guess. Later Alessandra went on to model for Armani and Guess as well. Even though Alessandra has always been extremely passionate about modeling, Adriana was always one step ahead of her. She's now using Adriana's disinterest in modeling to gain some ground. She seems very ambitious and self-conscious. She got her teeth fixed and she's starting to take over the VS catalogs. Adriana on the other hand has gained weight and reportedly turned down a lot of assignments, focusing on other things like reconciling with her estranged father and finding herself spiritually. I get the impression Adriana will soon retire. If she finds the right man now she'll withdraw in a heart beat (keeping maybe only her Maybelline and VS stuff for a while) and focus on starting a family of her own (she's a huge family person). Alessandra on the other hand will continue to fuel her own image and try to become the next Gisele. I think she loves the attention and fame more than Adriana does. Adriana never wanted it to begin with. She just wanted to become a nun but her good looks basically put her on the modeling highway when she was discovered at a local mall at the age of 13. She was thrown into it whereas Alessandra (being not as physically blessed = dumbo-eared and lazy-eyed) had to fight more for it. Now that Gisele is out of the picture VS-wise and Adriana has become more inactive, I think she's tasting blood. She wants to be the face of Victoria's Secret and she wants it badly. Adriana just wants to be happy and I don't think she's been as happy as she used to be since the break-up with Vince. Alessandra is a great model and possibly at the height of her career but she's not as stunning as Adriana was in her prime. Nor will she ever be.
