Gabrielle Anwar (born February 4, 1970) is an English actress, known for her roles in the 1990s films Scent of a Woman, The Three Musketeers and Body Snatchers. She also appeared as fashion-conscious graphic designer Sam Black in the second series of the hugely popular Children's ITV series Press Gang. Currently, she is starring as Fiona Glenanne opposite Jeffrey Donovan as Michael Westen on the USA Network television series Burn Notice. My boyfriend and I watch her on the Burn Notice, and we always comment about how poorly she's aged. She's too thin; she's all hard and stringy, and her tan is too much. If she stopped tanning and gained about 10 lbs, she'd look smokin' again.

Her face is very wrinkly for her age. She needs to tweeze her eyebrows. She needs to stop smiling like she's sucking on a lemon. I do give her credit for not wearing hardly any makeup.

Oh for heaven's sake, people. Yes, her upper lip is weird, that's obviously pumped up, but her skin is aging like any HUMAN...you are so used to seeing celebrities that pay a ton of money to have ultra incredible skin that you aren't noticing that the people around you are aging just like Gabrielle is? Like a human, not a celebrity.
Geez, leave her alone and stop having expectations that are unrealistic. The celebrities you think look so good are totally NOT realistic, are hardly like anyone else in the world...they are such a small fraction that it's impossible for the rest of the world's population is supposed to look that good. That is why they are IDOLized...because they are above and beyond reality.
Looking like that is rare and not a good point from which to judge how other people should look.

In my experience of being a a lone female in a men's only industry, the men who have the hutzpah to criticize a beautiful woman's features usually haven't seen themselves in the mirror for a while. Most of them wouldn't be worthy to mow Gabrielle's lawn or wash her car.
I was proud to look that good at 38, and I can still kick most butts at 54. Watch her on Burn Notice, then ask yourself if you want to walk up to her and tell her about her neck or upper lip.
Then, go look in the mirror at yourself.
