Anna Chlumsky (born December 3, 1980 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actress.
She entered show business at an early age modeling with her mother in an advertising campaign. She is best known for playing Vada Sultenfuss in the 1991 movie My Girl.
She was in Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain with Christina Ricci, in which they "clown around" on a "haunted" mountain.
Chlumsky graduated from the University of Chicago in 2002 and had worked in New York City as a researcher for Zagat, a restaurant review company, for a short while. [Wiki]

you guys are really harsh...
I met Anna at film festival earlier this year and she was really nice (and I would like to think the industry can stand all the nice, behaved , well mannered stars we can find) ... and I have seen others describe her as pretty in an actress kind of way (not as a model) so she has been acting in off off broadway plays the last year or two , getting some TV spots (like in a CSI show? and I think 30 Rock) but she landed a role on the CW midseason replacement show Eight Days a Week ....
maybe she will hit the beach and get a tan like some above suggested...

i think she was a cutie in the "My Girl" movies and i think she is still a cutie. i don't understand why everyone has to look a certain way or dress a certain.no bodies perfect. and i'm sure somebody, somewhere when you were growing up told you if we all looked the same how boring the world would be. so to those of you who spend your time criticizing others on the way they look or dress take a moment to look in a mirror and study yourself and your own flaws. peace
