I hate this chick's fringe, its so god damn straight. Its like the hairdresser sat there with a leveling tool to get a perfect straight cut. I dunno, it pisses me off for some reason.

I'm in France this semester studying at a language school and most of the kids here are Chinese. I don't know many Chinese actresses and actors, but I know Bai Ling, and I was told that she's not well-liked at all in China. I read some stuff on Bai Ling and I guess it's pretty obvious why she wouldn't be welcomed in a traditional country. She's more interesting, in all the ways that matter, than I ever would have guessed.

If you ever heard me say, "Dui bu qi . . . Wo bu hui shuo Zhongwen", you'd either make fun of me, or you'd simply ask, "Shuo le shenme"?
(For the Mandarin deficient: "Sorry, I don't speak Chinese" / "WTF did you say")?
Seems like the only Chinese people who get offended are ABC!

Also, her unabashed free spirit is probably what we love most about her!!! My wife is so staunchly traditional in her thinking, it usually frustrates the hell out of me. But, at least she's bothered to educate herself on the truths of the communist party. People who still claim Mao as their "hero" should wake up and join reality!
