The only role of Thandie Newton I ever need to remember that she's a hottie is from Mission:Impossible II...the bathtub scene. But here's what the Wikipedia had to offer:
Thandiwe Newton better known as Thandie Newton (born November 6, 1972) is a BAFTA Award-winning biracial (African and European) English actress.
She was born in Zambia, to a white English father and a black Zimbabwean mother. According to Newton, her mother is a Zimbabwean Shona Princess.[1] She was raised in Zambia and Cornwall, England, and educated at Downing College, University of Cambridge. Newton made her film debut in Flirting (1991). She had a small role as the Creole slave Yvette in Interview with the Vampire with Tom Cruise.

The dress kind of reminds me of a Japanese paper fan, but it manages to go with Thandie's dark coloring. She's put on a little weight, but is still petite, and looks gorgeous. The dress is kind of blah, but she looks great herself.

Geez I never got why people think this shriveled stick is hot. Although my perception may be biased by knowing her most from her manipulative annoying role in ER, although she did amaze me by making Noah Wyle even more of a sissy girl than I thought was ever possible.
