Sobieski rose to fame in her mid-teens with her appearance in the movie Deep Impact (1998) and went on to play a modern Lolita in Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut (Released in 1999, although she was not even seventeen when her nymphet-like scenes were shot), which led to the forming of a firm friendship with the director. The title role in the TV movie Joan of Arc (1999) earned her an Emmy nomination and a Golden Globe nomination and a second nomination followed her portrayal of Tosia Altman in the TV movie Uprising (2001).

In an August 30 interview on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno she mentioned that she is currently single and has a younger brother attending Princeton University.

Sooooo homely, yuck.
She's got a reeeeally nice rack that you can't see in these pics, and a sort of ok body overall, but that face... It's the worst of Helen hunt crossed with Mena Suvari with that enormous five-head. Maybe it's a six-head? Ever see her on Leno or Letterman, etc? She's got this Madonna-esque way of speaking that's very overly articulate, in a very self conscious way. It ooooozes pretentiousness. Grrr, bugs the HELL out of me.

Uhm...I don't know her...in these pics the forhead's ok looking, but maybe it's worst in person? What bugs me is her downs syndrome eyes in most of the pics and her too thin lips...the way she pouts is awful. And the dress (actually shirt and skirt) looks awful with that jacket. Bad!!
I think she's going about the eighties all wrong. I always thought it looked like some Frankenstein broke helen hunt's nose and then stuck Hunt's head on the skankiest flat assed eastern bloc prostitute they could find.
I think she really missed her calling in porn-you know she'd be the "classy" one.
