Normally, I think Amy Lee is beautiful. However, she does look horrible here. I respect her for doing her own thing and having one hell of a voice, but yes, the dress DOES look like a sack and her makeup makes her look like she should be walking the streets-not the red carpet.

As for diluting the goth scene - Evanescence is only "goth" because people put that label on them. They've never claimed to be goth. Find me an article where Amy Lee or anyone from the band specifically says, "We're goth! We're goth! Look at us, we're goth!" You won't find one because they never have.

And if you don't like Evanescence's music, then you don't like their music. Don't complain about it and go listen to what you DO like. Everyone has their own taste, learn to respect other people's taste.

I love Amy Lee. This isn't a great photo of her but I really like her dark hair and makeup. She's really pretty and this is an honest opinion from a guy who has good taste in girls and doesn't go for superficial airheads like Paris Hilton.
