school is going great, the kids are all good, but you know, they have their defiant moments!!! but, hey,. dont we all? yes, its frustrating when you have 30 18-months to 5 year-olds in ONE classroom from 2-6PM ( im there from 730-6, i open, give the early ones breakfast, then at 9 my class, the 2 year olds -- theres about 10 of them!-- go into my class room and i try my best to get them thru the pledge, one song and a story.....then its trying to potty train them, then diapers ( ugh, you know, my mom and dad never even changed mine, i had a nanny, so last monday was my FIRST time with changing.... and yes, it was #2....i was like, oh....faaabbbuuuullooouuus......), then they get lunch.....and by that time im so grossed out by the changing that i cant eat! but then i get an hour lunch break, and they nap for 2.5 hours, so thats also pretty nice. the thing is, i like working with children because they are SO pure and innocent that they dont know how to be FAKE yet. you KNOW if they like you or not, and thats what i appreciate the most. i cant STAND fronters!!!
