This is a country that has 27% of the world's prison population, and the highest incarceration rate on the planet. The only countries that execute more prisoners than the state of texas are China(which executes more than the rest of the Earth combined), Iran, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. That's some nice company to keep. The US is a backward, third world country that has 1/3 of the world's billionaires. Culturally, the US is more like China than it is like Scandinavia.
