I liked the one from Kitten best (for obvious reasons), and I am glad I didn't submit one after reading the one from Richard (I don't think I put in that much work on college papers let alone for a free t-shirt...)!
How many entries do you receive anyway? Can we do this contest again in the winter when I'm not busy!!?
Or better yet can't we just BUY a t-shirt (we're American (i.e. LAZY) remember?)

oh c'mon Lissa....you should've just done one anyways!!! so based on a technicality that we didn't explicitly say "Lissa write an essay" you didn't do one.... boo!!!!

farmgirl.... w/ the amount of work that richard put into it, how the hell could we not make him a winner?!??! .... we even took into consideration some of steve's comments that fit the guidlines where he went on about Mongolian women being the hottest....not to say we were desperate for entries...

so you want us to have like a Bastardly 1 and a half year Anniversary contest???

awh, okay, my bad then Lissa... we always like praise and feedback anyways... makes us feel like we're doing something good as we waste away our time at work.

Hi guys (and gals),

I just made the text for my own enjoyment, and yours ofcourse. About the t-shirt, it'd be fun, but i'll understand if you'd rather not send it since i live in europe, and i don't know what kind of shipping fee you'll have to pay. Eternal recognition of my rethoric prowess is good enough for me. Oh and farmgirl, this would indeed be the amount of work i'd put into the average college paper. The 'reward' may be more substantial for those, but this was definately more fun to write. And faisal, i'm hoping to get around to Tolstoy when i've finished my college papers in one or two weeks. You yourself seemed to be touched by those texts, why don't you write a short something about why you thought them so profound? I'll know what areas you think are interesting and where i'd best focus my attentions. Don't stare at photos of paris and lindsey too long y'all, it can't be good for your mental health.

send your address anyway. I'll price it out @ the post office when the weekend rolls around. It can't be too much to ship.

While we're on the topic of Tolstoy, I just finished a great short story titled, A Happy Married Life. Amazing stuff, I tell you. It makes marriage seem so useless in the long run, but I think I've written about that once before. Anyway, I'll email you one of these days.

Sounds interesting. What do you do at a book club, exactly? Everybody reads a certain book and we all discuss about its meaning and other aspects? Sounds like fun, assuming we won't take it too seriously (but that won't be a problem around here :)). What kind of books are you all interested in? I'm currently reading early nineteenth century english works mostly. Jane Austen is a pleasure to read, definatly one i'd recommend.

I've read a couple of interviews on the net, and it sounds like its an interesting book. I'd be alright with it. So, what happens if we choose it? We fix a date on which we should've read it or something?

Asian women do stand leagues above your common European and North American woman. It isn't just race (though black women do tend to be the least appealing). It is the health and attitude of the woman. Asian women tend to have a better attitude to life, and are in better shape and healthier. American women look exhausted, and are getting fatter by the day. Unfortunately for black men, their women have bad diets and a negative attitude that shows in their faces and bodies. I would say that continental European women are the next best after Asian women.

I think maybe we should have a bastardly book club. You guys seem to read weird, yet interesting books...I remeber one time I checked out a book on "mole people." Very weird yet oddly entertaining.

I didn't want to write an essay for the contest because I already have a bastardly shirt, but I asked if you wanted one anyway. Most of the times you reply back to people when they ask you a direct question. Why should my question be any different?

Anyway, congrats to the winners. :)
