Taliana is of Greek descent through her grandparents, and has Italian relatives.[1][3] She speaks fluent Spanish, English, and Italian, as well as some Greek and Arabic.
Vargas placed in the Top 5 in the Miss Universe 2008 pageant held in Vietnam, eventually finishing as first runner-up to the eventual winner, Miss Venezuela Dayana Mendoza, on July 14, 2008 (local time). Miss Colombia is prettier. Miss Venezuela looks like a $2 hooker; caked-on makeup hides her true look, and I wonder what it is like underneath all that icing.
I make good Arepas. They are so easy to make and so delicious. THe most popular arepa in venezuela is the traditional one made with corn flour and stuffed with plantains, black beans, pork, and fresh cheese. yum yum!!

Why do beauty contestants always have to wear the most hideous evening gowns that they can find? I know there are better looking dresses out there but they always look so silly in these old lady, metallic looking getups.
Taliana (Ms Columbia) should have won she is way better looking than MS Venezuela -who is pretty but doesn't have the complete package.
