Those pics could be photoshopped too for all we know. I don't think most paparazzi shots are photoshopped to make the subject look better. If they are photoshopped, it'll mostly have to do with cropping, gamma etc. But sure, there are varying degrees of candid. One could also argue that those pictures you posted aren't really candids because the subjects are clearly posing for the camera and many dictionaries define a candid as "an unposed photograph". Also, the girl in the first picture is probably wearing make-up. Wouldn't it be more "candid" if she wasn't?

I think when most people are using the word "candid", they're just referring to a picture that is digitally unaltered and not taken as part of an elaborate preparatory set-up (e.g. professional photo shoots). At least that's the definition I use.

Nah, he's right. I did say that. If we take young Angelina Jolie and pit her against young Adriana Lima, I'll probably consider Jolie more "gifted" in the face department. But only by a margin. And when it comes to body, it's a no-brainer for me. Adriana.

I can look at young Cindy Crawford and recognize her objectively as more "flawless" feature-wise, but I still find myself more attracted to young Adriana because Adriana has a mysterious and exotic allure that I don't find in Cindy, even if Cindy is not a complete by-the-book classic beauty (she has those striking eyebrows which does give her an exotic edge).

I don't have a problem with her legs having more muscle tone nowadays, but her torso, arms and shoulders were more harmonious back then. I think it's something she could change. I know she's doing a lot of boxing training nowadays and that might be one of the contributors to her bulky arms / shoulders. And if she really wanted, I think she could get her stomach to look more like it did back then. She's never had a really tiny waist, but when she was younger it was tinier and it gave her a little more "hour-glass". Nowadays her body looks more trunk-ish and shapeless (curves are not just how much meat there's on your body, but also how it's divided).

As for her face. Well, it was just slightly less puffy back then. She had more cheek bone and definition in her face which accentuated her eyes and gave her a more striking and aggressive look.
