Candace Helaine Cameron Bure (born April 6, 1976) is an American actress best known for playing Donna Jo "D.J." Tanner on the television show Full House. She is also the younger sister of Kirk Cameron, who made one appearance on Full House. She is married to former Russian ice hockey player Valeri Bure (brother of Pavel Bure).
Recently, Cameron has made a few television appearances. She appeared on I Love the '80s and I Love the '80s Strikes Back as a commentator, and was the host of 50 Cutest Child Stars: All Grown Up on the E! network. In 2006, Cameron guest starred on the sitcom That's So Raven as Courtney Dearborn, Raven's history teacher. Kids voted her Best Actress for Full House at the Kids' Choice Awards.
In 2006, as a reflection of her evangelical faith, she began endorsing several online Christian homeschooling academies. In an article entitled, "'Submissive' is Not a Four-Letter Word," Cameron revealed the extent of her religious beliefs with quotes including, "I take joy in serving my husband" and "I gave up 'my rights' when I gave my life over to the Lord". You are so judgmental. Her being devoted to her husband and god does not make her a bad person and I feel it is unfair for you to judge. She seems like a wholesome girl and its good that she believes in God and has some guidance in her life unlike some of the other stars out there.
Hmm, what's wrong with surrendering your human and civil rights? Gee, do you need to ask? Prejudging religious people as moral, rational, wholesome or 'good' is just as bad.
Religious conservatives historically carry more than their fair share of bigotry, hypocrisy and ignorance. But it's not enough to ruin their own lives with their poor logic choices, they are committed to taking freedoms away from everyone else too.
I don't see how arrogance, hatred and ignorance remotely resembles the teachings of christ.

I work with a born-again, and they really are nuts. It's like a cult. She told me it says in the bible that women are to be subservient to their husbands. All she talks about is the Lord. I have no problem with the Big Man Upstairs, but I do talk about other things. Usually it's about how crazy she is. And, I don't know about the Camerons, but my co-worker is the meanest backstabber you will ever meet. After she gossips or says something derogatory or racist or something hateful about me or my daughter's medical problem, she says a prayer and claims all is forgiven because she is saved and has Jesus in her heart. I'm waiting for her to go postal one day and start shooting up the office.
I'm very proud of being a non-practicing Catholic and I don't care if they say I'm going to Hell. At least I know I'm having fun.
i'm catholic and i think it's kind of different from being christian. we believe generally the same thing and catholics were the original christians, but when you think of christians you think of negative things like evangelists and bible thumpers. one time i told a baptist preacher i was catholic and he asked me if i'd excepted jesus. i was like, uummm duh, didn't i just say i was catholic? he tried to save me anyway.
My mom is Baptist and my dad is Catholic. We didn't go to church growing up, but my mom taught us about God, Jesus, etc. I don't go to church now because I don't like the idea of anybody telling me what to do or how to act or telling me where I'm going to go when I die because I didn't act a certain way. I prefer to use common sense. My motto is "Use your head, but follow your heart."
My co-worker usually gets in a tiff when I tell her that if we all believe in Jesus Christ, then we're all Christians. It totally freaks her out. All she does in a discussion is recite biblical passages. She's constantly putting down other religions, especially Catholicism. I told her that pagan religions, such as Wicca, was practiced long before Jesus was born and she damn near had a heart attack. I'm sure she prayed for me. We have a mutual dislike for each other.
