Let's remember that VS is not ALL about sex appeal. Yes, they have some models with high sex appeal, but at the end of the day they're targeting mostly women, not men. I know Doutzen is probably not the biggest hit with the male population, but she has a sort of timeless and classical beauty that many women find appealing (again, these aren't her best pictures). The current angel line-up consists mostly of what I would call "exotic" models, so I think it's a good idea to pick a more classical beauty for once. Shrugs.

I think that's the whole issue with the VS models...most of them don't have sex appeal. I understand that the majority of customers that purchase VS products are women and you want to have models that your customers are comfortable with, but you also want to have models that make your customers say, "I want to look sexy that that woman." I guess VS is doing pretty well, so what the hell do I know?

I think it works like this:
The models are not supposed to be sexy. They put on VS clothes and that's what then "makes" them sexy. So if they can make unsexy supermodels look good, then the average woman should be helped by that, too.
As for VS doing well...
It also helps that the "pink" line is aimed at teens (so mommy has no problem buying it for her little princess 'cause it's not a teddy) and VS lingerie is cheap (it falls apart fast even though you pay an assload for it) so you have to keep replacing it.

She has crazy eyes and one is quite small.
I hate her narrow forehead. It makes her look as if she has huge jaws and i've seen lots of pics where her face looks fat. I'm thinking she suffers from fat face syndrome.
Don't want to start on the mouth.
She's still a pretty girl though. At least she does have an arse.
