Agyness Deyn (born Laura Hollins[1] on 16 February 1983[2]) is an English model. In 2008, Deyn was hailed as "the fashion industry's next great supermodel" and has been called an "ambassador of British youth culture."
Agyness Deyn is from Failsworth in Greater Manchester.[4][5] She is the second of three children. Her mother Lorraine is a nurse. She attended All Saints RC High School and Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School and Sixth Form in Waterfoot, Rossendale. Deyn's working life started serving cod, chips and mushy peas part-time at 17, which she did in Ramsbottom. In 1999, she won the Rossendale Free Press "Face of '99" competition, aged just 16.[6] She left home for London, working in a burger joint during the day and a bar at night but she admits: “I tried to make cocktails but it didn’t quite work.”[7] During this time she says she was also at college in Hull, studying drama and music. She was signed up by Models 1 when she visited the agency, slammed down a portfolio and refused to leave until she was signed. [Wiki]

NOT! She's a fucking flash in the pan. Trust me, no way will she be around this time next year. Kate Moss she is not! She's fucking nearly 26, over the hill for a model, she's such a poser she changed her name from Laura Hollins to Agyness Deyn. I mean, what the fuck is that about? i think shes funny but shes not sexy. I like her though. I disagree Aisha, i think she will be around, shes been causing waves in modelling for a while now. Its only recently that shes become such a commercial phenomenon.

and she is already 25. who cares if she has been around for a few years, shes only been popular for a few months. its too late for her to become a big model, shes already past her modeling prime. if you dont make it big as a big name supermodel by the time you are around 23, tough luck.

no if you establish yourself you can model well into your thirties, look at heidi and kate for example. Marisa miller is only having her career boost now and shes nearly forty so i would have to disagree with that. And she hasnt only been popular for a few months, ive seen her on catwalks for ages now. Its only when she reached commercial status that you probably heard of her.

the blonde crop is something a lot of models have done to gain media attention. Carolyn Murphy did it and shes made a hell of a career for herself. I seriously doubt shes trying to look like samantha ronson. If anything both girls are more likely to be paying homage to annie lenox or another androgynous icon.
