Mirrors, Stars: Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Flemyng, Amy SmartBen Carson (Sutherland) is a former cop who signs up as night watchman in a burnt-out luxury store (with haunted mirrors) that used to be an insane asylum. Doppelgängers beyond the looking glass cause gruesome deaths, and Ben runs around trying to get to the bottom of the mystery. Aja made an impressive horror debut with Switchblade Romance, but this remake of the Korean film Into the Mirror is an exercise in laughably earnest nonsense that barely rustles up a single chill.
