Ali Larter Is Reading Paulo Coelho's Brida!

‘Heroes’ hasn't learned from sophomore slump
"Heroes" has tried to disguise some of the repeated storylines by switching the characters. Psychic Matt Parkman (and his African spirit guide, Usutu) and a badass time-travelling Peter Petrelli are both trying to prevent a tipping point that will cause the world to descend into a dystopian future. But neither of them has honed their powers enough to see that painter Isaac and a sword-wielding Hiro have walked these exact paths before.

It would be a mistake to assume that the writers were hoping the entire audience underwent a Haitian mindwipe, though. In fact, they're counting on viewers remembering, if the pale echoes of some of the more resonant first-season dialogue is any indication. Source

She's hot, but the show is getting stupid. There are so many things that don't make sense, like in last week's episode when M. Bennet was trying to convince the Vortex guy to kill Sylar and they were all whispering so he wouldn't hear even though he was only a few feet away... Didn't he acquire an ability in season 1 that allows him to hear a pin drop from like a mile away?

And didn't Angela Petrelli and Linderman die last season? I'm lost.

Sylar lost or forgot most of his powers when the Company saved him from near death, but they haven't been consistent about showing what he lost or has added since then. Angela Petrelli never died. Linderman is a hallucination planted into several minds by Matt Parkman's dad. But that last part might be a spoiler for people who are still behind in Tivo/DVR viewing.
.
Anyway, I agree, Heroes has been frustrating to watch this season. Seems like the writers are still on a mental strike.

Oh, maybe I should watch the last few episodes of season 2 again, but it is confusing nontheless. Peter going back and forth in the future... And if Sylar doesn't eat people's brains, why is it that in season 1, the brain always disappears? Like, when he killed Isaac, his head was empty and his brain was nowhere to be found, remember when the police inspector asked Hiro what he did with the brain?

And I know that Adam can't die, but he's been in a coffin for weeks without even drinking water... he should have shriveled like a raisin but instead, they find him in the exact same condition...

I know it's just a show but in season 1, everything was so well done and now it's like the writers are overlooking those important details that make the storyline believable.

The scene where Ali was sitting at a table and freezing a flower petal was actually pretty hot.

Not bad for being dressed down and seemingly having just gotten out of the shower.

"Heroes" is a mess of a show. I only watch it now just to see how bad it can get. There needs to be a total reboot of the show with less characters and a more consistent treatment of their powers.

Ali is looking REALLY nice this season. And yes, this season a lot of the characters are sucking. The only characters I really care for this season are HRG, Syler, Ando, Parkman, Nathan (somewhat), the former Niki Sanders (as Ali looks so good this season), and the speedster (she's like ugly-cute if anyone knows what I'm talking about).

I hate the Maya plot with a passion ever since it began (although she's dressing sluttier this season which is kind of nice), and wtf is Suresh a spider? Claire's a little bitch. Peter's acting somehow got worse. Angela Petrelli's a cunt who everyone has hated forever. Hiro's being a tard. And to the characters I left out, that's cause they're so forgettable.

Yes, the Maya plot is just painful to watch. Plus, she could have killed Suresh in last week's episode, easily but for some reason she didn't...

I love her in heroes.

Hey why does Peter feel the need to open ppls brains to get their powers when he already has them?
Like Sylar said, a hunger comes with my ability, so why does he need to open brains when hes already "full".

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that Heroes is slipping big time. What about two weeks ago, when Peter goes to the future, but can't freeze time or do anything to save the kid or stop sylar from blowing up a whole town?

The writers need to watch season 1 and 2 to recall what powers Sylar and Peter have acquired.

I was thinking the same thing! There we had 2 of the most powerful characters in the show, totally helpless in front of some guy who can blow wind with his mouth? What the hell was that!

Peter or Sylar could have just frozen time or used their telekinesis power to throw him hard against a wall or something...

I'm starting to sound like a total nerd so I'll stop now. haha

The problem with Peter's and Sylars powers is that they are people not "God's", and in order for any thing to happen in the show concerning them, without them freezing time there would be no plot development.

Jeez, I really thought that this season was good. It had a lot of plot twists but it was engaging. You guys are totally right about the plot holes though. It's like nobody knows how to conveniently use their powers. Why doesn't Hiro just go back in time and destroy his father's half of the formula? Why does Peter seem so lame when he is like the strongest (and Gabriel) of them all? And there are too many characters, but they will all eventually die off.
